Ladies, gentlemen and kids! After years of our lovely guests asking us for accommodation, HERE YOU ARE! We’ve waited this long because in true Towri style we needed to be different! Introducing ‘Ewenique Stabling’
This is a ‘Ewenique’ way to experience country life, wake up to the sound of country bliss and of course the odd sheep. With complimentary tea and coffee along with your optional food hamper for a few extra dollarydoos your morning will already be off to a relaxing start.
Things only get more exciting! Bring on your complimentary milking demonstration. Make your way over to the sheep shed with coffee in hand if you want, feel free to stop and smell the roses on the way and little Honey Poo our Jack Russell and Abby the sheep dog will probably be assisting you on your short stroll. As you get closer to the Sheep Shed depending on the season our poddy lambs will greet you with their demanding adorable little voices in which you will feel obliged to feed them their bottles.
When you see the milking machine turn on that’s when Towri goes wild! With ewes leaping to the front of the line because they’re one step closer to yummy grain and lambs in the distance knowing they only have to wait a short time to spend the rest of the day with their mums.
After the craziness has settled down and you watch our ewes being reunited with their lambs for the day, IT’S CHEESE TIME! Sit back and relax while we boil the kettle and start on your complimentary cheese platter! We can bring it to you in the garden or you can stay stationed in the sheep shed cafe.
By this stage we can guarantee the Towri charm has hit you and your worry and stress levels are no more but a faded memory! Now that you have your bearings on where everything is at Towri, go say hello to Mary and Milly the donkeys, they love a good pat and food of course…especially Mary! Plus don’t forget to feed the chooks and check for eggs!
If you get hungry for lunch you have a fully equipped kitchen at your stables where you can cook up a storm with your own food you have brought from home or from the Towri food hamper you may have already pre booked, oh and we throw in a complimentary local bottle of wine too.
If you don’t feel like cooking we highly recommend the Veresdale Hotel, only a 15 minute drive away and oh my have they got a big menu! Plus they’re family friendly too, check them out! https://thev.com.au/
If it’s been awhile since you’ve switched off from technology well you’re in luck, no TV! But when you light your fire pit with marshmallow stick in hand and look up at the stars, you’ll wish you made more time to switch off. Also you’ll find loads of board games in the stables! (Use of fire pit will depend on current fire restrictions of course)
So what are you waiting for! Give us a call today or shoot our friendly team an email email@example.com or on 0403463429
